Log cabin baby blanket

While I realize that crocheted blankets are not necessarily the most practical items for a baby, I love making them. This one was for a dear friend’s daughter. My methodical brain really enjoyed the rhythm of the rows, turning for each new color, and the four different quadrants that emerged, although weaving in all those ends was a pain. I think the red ended up being a bit too strong for the rest of the colors, so I would contemplate that choice next time around.
