About a year ago, a friend moved to New York for a job. Shortly after that, I came across a cute notebook with quotes about New York that I thought she would enjoy, and I decided to send her a little Seattle-to-New York care package. Since New York is the Big Apple and Washington is known for its apples, I thought a crochet apple was the perfect homage to both worlds. This little guy joined the notebook and some made-in-Seattle chocolate for the cross-country trip.
