Park: Alki Beach Park
Size: 135.9 acres
My run: 4 miles
Terrain/environment: Sidewalk along the water, with beautiful views of the Seattle skyline and the mountains.
People: Lots of other joggers and walkers. It was not quite as busy as Green Lake, but it is definitely still a popular place for exercising.
Observations: I’ve been to Alki several times, and I am always blown away by how lovely it is. I love the views of the city and the water. It feels like a California beach town. I’ve never been running here before, and it is a nice flat run. It was very windy, though, so it was definitely a challenge!
Would I go again? Absolutely, another great running park.
